十指插針 黃成被盤錦監獄迫害致死

 

【明慧網二零一一年三月二日】(明慧網通訊員遼寧報導)遼寧錦州法輪功學員黃成被盤錦監獄、錦州公安局太和公安分局用酷刑迫害致腦血栓、半身浮腫、生活不能自理,於二零一一年二月二十四日在極度痛苦中含冤離世,年僅五十六歲。黃成於二零零八年八月被非法判刑六年,同年十二月十六日黃成被劫持到盤錦監獄時已經是傷勢嚴重,獄方開始拒收,太和公安分局的惡警戴勇說:「死都不怪你,死了找我。」

二零零九年三月末,盤錦監獄開始強行轉化(逼迫法輪功學員放棄信仰),管教科的楊冠軍、管教科科長胡小東、李峰(科長)、於×(中隊長)、犯人孟祥林、王碩(毒犯)等幾人用八根高壓電棍同時電擊黃成,把他的渾身上下電得沒有好地方。中共的這些惡警們,繼續把黃成的頭戴上頭套,然後吊起來,三天三夜不讓吃飯、不讓喝水。

最後把他放下來時,大隊長管風春又把黃成衣服扒光,銬在鐵椅子上,用電棍一會一電,還逼迫黃成罵人,他親自「示範」給黃成聽,一罵三個小時,全是非常低級下流的不堪入耳的髒話。在此期間,管風春指使孟祥林等犯人將黃成雙手銬在牆上,將他每個手指尖插進一根醫用的大針頭,整整插了十根!針是從指甲與肉之間扎進去的,血從另一端流出,有的針從指甲縫扎進去又從另一指節背穿出,血就從針頭流出,有的針扎進針尖被堵塞拔出後出血。直到黃成離世時,他的指甲蓋內仍留有疤痕……

還有一次,四個惡警同時電黃成二個小時左右,又讓犯人踩他的臉,牙被踩掉兩個。當時一犯人實在下不去手,說,「我不幹了,沒(你們)這麼整人的,我不爭這份(獎賞)了。」參與的犯人換了好幾個,打人之狠毒,連犯人都看不過去。

二零零九年九月份左右,黃成因堅持修煉法輪功,被獄警楊冠軍打他數百個嘴巴子、大隊長用手銬打胸部、各種電刑(水泥地潑水、水通電)等連續折磨,使他經常處於暈迷狀態,類似腦出血症狀。

十多次非法關押、二次勞教迫害

黃成,原錦州女兒河紡織廠職工,以前身患重病,通過修煉法輪功,所有病症完全消失,身心健康。而且按照法輪大法「真、善、忍「的原則要求自己,總是替別人著想,親朋好友都十分認可他的為人,單位對他的表現十分的滿意。

一九九九年七月,中共邪黨頭子江澤民凌駕於憲法和法律之上,動用國家機器非法鎮壓法輪功以後,黃成因為信守「真、善、忍」信仰而屢遭迫害。自一九九九年到二零一零年期間,黃成被綁架到派出所、看守所、戒毒所、洗腦班、太和公安分局、勞動教養院、監獄累計十五次,期間他被非法勒索錢財、騷擾、抄家、酷刑折磨多次,惡警和惡人所非法採用的迫害手段之慘烈,比當年希特勒迫害猶太人有過之而無不及、黃成所承受的痛苦令任何聽到的人都會為之垂淚。而這一切都僅僅因為他堅持對「真、善、忍」的信仰!

二零零零年七月份,錦州女兒河派出所和錦州太和公安分局二十多名警察早晨八點多鐘就把黃成從家中綁架到了女兒河派出所逼供,六、七個惡警對他大打出手,用木凳子把他打倒在地後,掰開他的胳膊,用腳使勁在他的後背上踩,用膠棒打,邊打邊罵,把凳子都砸爛了。就這樣折磨了他整整一天的時間,致使他全身腫脹,青一塊,紫一塊,嚴重的地方又黑又紫,尤其是後背,幾乎找不到好地方。第二天惡警把他綁架到了錦州市看守所做奴工。大約七個月後,他們把黃成綁架到了錦州市勞動教養院迫害長達二十九個月。

二零零三年中秋節,黃成從勞教所回到家中才半年,錦州市橋西派出所兩車警察再次把黃成綁架,把他的雙手銬在了暖氣管子上,一男警察用腳踢他,邊踢邊叫另一女警察弄些沒有摘過的韭菜(裏邊有草)強迫往他嘴裏塞,以此來污辱他。當天又把他綁架到了錦州市看守所關了八九天,又綁架到錦州勞教教養院十九個月。

綁架判刑、迫害致死

二零零八年二月二十五日早六點多鐘,錦州太和區公安分局、錦州女兒河派出所和其它錦州市迫害大法的邪惡機構的警察乘多輛警車(因車多,警察也多,不知具體是多少),多名警察一窩蜂似的闖入黃成家,把黃成直接綁架到太和區公安分局後,對他家實行了大規模抄家搶劫,搶走全部法輪大法書籍,老式錄放機一台,電視機一台,影碟機一台等等,就連他家房門的鑰匙、妻子的工資卡都被他們搜走。在錦州市太和區公安分局長達十八個小時非法拘禁的過程中,黃成經歷了太和區公安分局惡警戴勇、高寶、吳南、劉晉、王立勇等多名警察慘無人道的刑訊逼供、酷刑折磨,造成他左右手骨折,左腳脖子大筋裸露出來,之後非法關進錦州看守所。

二零零八年八月,錦州太和區法院非法判黃成六年冤獄。同年十二月十六日黃成被劫持到盤錦監獄,獄方開始以黃成傷勢嚴重拒收,但是太和分局的惡警戴勇卻說:「死都不怪你,死了找我」,隨後黃成被非法關押在一監區二大隊。

在盤錦監獄一監區不到二年的時間裏,黃成被迫害成出現腦梗塞和腦出血、腦白質變性、生活不能自理、心律不齊等症狀。最後經省級醫院的檢查,判定黃成隨時都有處在生命危險之中。

在家屬的一再要求下,盤錦監獄為了推卸責任,才把已經處於生命垂危之中的黃成辦理「保外就醫」。雖然在錦州女兒河派出所所長張久義和片警張忠信的一再阻撓下,黃成終於在二零一零年八月十九日回到了自己的家中。家屬帶他到各大醫院醫治,答覆說,此症無藥可治。

二零一零年九月二十六日下午四點左右,女兒河派出所片警張忠信再次到黃成家騷擾,聲稱:你走親戚回來咋沒給我個信,你看你們法輪功學員給我發這麼多短信。黃成的妻子把他生命垂危的診斷書拿給他看,據理力爭。張忠信惱怒:我給你交上邊人,我不管了,然後怒氣沖沖揚長而去。黃成就在這幾個月的極度痛苦的狀態下最終含冤離世。

神韻歐洲巡演在德國金融之都開啟

【明慧網二零一一年三月二日】(明慧記者荷雨綜合報導)二月二十六日晚,美國神韻巡迴藝術團在德國金融之都法蘭克福拉開了二零一一年歐洲巡演的序幕。神韻在美茵河域文化活動中心──法蘭克福世紀大廳(Frankfurt Century Hall)上演的兩天三場絕美大戲令現場各界觀眾為之傾倒,以嚴謹著稱的德國觀眾忘記了平素的矜持,演出中劇院裏掌聲如潮。

這已是神韻第五度蒞臨歐洲大陸。在這西方文明的發源地和文化遺產的保存地,十四世紀至十六世紀的文藝復興將人類藝術推上頂峰,而今,神韻又以全善全美的極致藝術所演繹的博大精深的五千年中華神傳文明再次喚醒這片日趨物質化的大陸,激起人們持久的感動與共鳴。

二月二日,在中國新年除夕,歐洲議會副主席愛德華‧麥克米蘭‧斯考特先生(Edward McMillan-Scott)專門在歐洲議會舉辦迎接神韻招待會,以歐洲官方名義隆重歡迎神韻到來。一百多位來自歐盟各機構的官員出席了招待會,他們當中有不少人已觀看過神韻。

這幾年來,麥克米蘭-斯考特先生一直在歐洲議會舉辦迎接神韻招待會,以褒揚神韻給人們帶來的重要傳統價值觀。他認為:「神韻真是很了不起!她基於遠古的文化,將五千年中華文化都展現在舞台上了,又是一種創新。神韻就應該成功,正如她過去已經做到的那樣。」「作為歐洲民主的中心,歐洲議會最應該舉辦這樣的招待會,來歡迎神韻來歐洲巡演。」

曾攜家人觀看過神韻的英國歐洲議會議員格拉德‧巴登(Gerard Batten)先生,在招待會上說自己「想像不出還有甚麼可像這台晚會這樣,讓人通過這個窗口來見識中國文化」,並讚頌神韻傳遞的「偉大的信息」和帶來的「對未來的希望」。

德國執政黨基督教民主聯盟(CDU)議會黨團副主席的米歇爾‧麥斯特博士(Dr. Michael Meister)已是連續四年向神韻發來賀信:「去年我和太太有幸欣賞到了神韻藝術團的精湛表演。對於我們而言,那是一次無與倫比的經歷,是一場中國文化與歐洲文化的精彩交流。」

「我是一個陷於紛繁事務的人,平時除了睡覺都在工作。但今天看演出時,我完全陶醉、沉浸其中,遠離塵世,渾然不覺間,演出就結束了。」卡耶哈米特先生是一家著名連鎖珠寶店在法蘭克福的經理。熱愛神韻的他,像去年一樣,邀請了六十五位商界的朋友一起欣賞了今年的晚會。「我還沒能跟每位朋友交談,但我知道他們都很激動,感覺非常好。」

他讚嘆每個節目都有獨到之處。和諧的顏色、美麗的舞蹈、現場交響樂伴奏都讓他印象深刻,尤其是「這些節目要表達的情感和內涵在喚醒人們的良知。」

卡耶哈米特先生的兒子,頭一次觀看神韻的阿里安也興奮不已:「滿眼都是絢麗的色彩,我完全被吸引住了!我從未沒見過女高音歌唱家演唱不需要話筒,這是一種全新的體驗。」

在二十七日下午的演出中場休息期間,觀眾們來到樂池邊,興致盎然地探尋那些奇妙的中國傳統樂器。國際人權協會(IGFM)主席卡爾‧哈芬(Karl Hafen)先生和夫人也樂在其中。

演出雖才進行一半,神韻已給哈芬先生帶來深刻、美好印象:「(演出)完美!非常美妙、優雅高貴、多彩多姿,一切都展現得非常正面和積極,令人愉悅。」

他認為神韻樂團的現場演奏「很了不起」,「女舞蹈演員的舞姿輕盈、飄逸、祥和,她們在空中的造型和技巧非常協調;男舞蹈演員的跳躍動作也無可挑剔的完美。」

中國問題專家:神韻如史詩一般

德國中國問題專家、法學博士韋唐仕先生(Thomas Weyrauch)自去年十一月因工作過度疲勞病倒後,身體一直比較虛弱。觀看神韻演出後,他激動地說:「我原以為頂多堅持一小時,但看演出時我身體感覺越來越好,內心充滿喜悅和希望。我不停地鼓掌,你看,手都拍紅了。」

作為中國問題專家,韋唐仕先生曾於一九八九年到一九九零年擔任德國杜伊斯堡市政府駐中國代表。此後的二十多年來,他一直從事中國問題的研究,並出版了包括《痛苦的巨龍》和《中國被忽視的民國》在內的多本著作。

「就我對中國的了解,我知道神韻的舞蹈不僅僅是一種藝術表現,而是對中國的深刻展現,這也是神韻與眾不同之處。如史詩一般,神韻濃縮展現出中國的悠久歷史、傳統文化、以及現實中國和那股破壞這文化的勢力的較量和衝突。我看過很多中國表演,卻從未有像今天這樣深深觸及心靈的。那些節目在不斷衝擊著我的情感,我努力克制自己,但還是無法抑制地流淚了……這樣深刻的感情衝擊很好,正是我所需要的。今天是我第一次看神韻,但我知道這一定不會是最後一次。」

韋博士感嘆:「那位受迫害的老師讓我想起自己在二戰期間受到納粹迫害的祖父,想起那些現在正在中國遭受迫害的朋友們。我認為把中共政權稱為中國政府是誤用了概念,因為中共政權是反中國的,它正摧毀著中國的傳統文化。中國人民已忍受了太長太多,現在該是擺脫其統治的時候了!」

神韻晚會完全超出瑞士美度表(Mido)品牌經理彼得‧雅各布先生的期待,他激動地說:「今天下午是我過去這一年中的最美好時光。演出所傳達的信息發人深省,開啟了我的思維。觀眾就像演出的一部份,能跟著演出一起思考而不是被動地接受灌輸。」

「開篇的舞劇(《萬王下世》)就令我完全陷入了思考,一開始我還沒太看明白,不過,壓軸的節目與之呼應,而中間的部份又絲絲如扣地將整台節目引向最後──我覺得最精彩的一幕。演出傳達出平等、自由以及我們應該如何生活的信息。就像里程碑,神韻為我們指出了一個正確的方向。我會向朋友推薦神韻,告訴他們:這是一場兼具娛樂性和思想性的高水準演出。」

影像製作家:發現神韻的「秘密」

日耳曼民族素以精準著稱,驕傲的德國人卻鮮以這個形容詞來誇獎其他民族。然而神韻在法蘭克福的最後場演出完全折服了影像製作中心業主米爾德夫婦(Milde),他們用了一大串「精準」來盛讚神韻:「一切都做得完美無瑕,服裝、化妝、道具……,樣樣精準無誤。」

米爾德先生擁有一家影像製作中心,曾為國際舞蹈比賽攝影製片。經常觀看在法蘭克福的各種演出的米爾德夫婦來看神韻時,還帶著看歌劇的專用望遠鏡。神韻更令他們驚訝的是,「那些舞蹈演員不但精準,而且還帶著一種難以言表的輕鬆,他們的表情中充滿了喜悅。如果有機會的話,我們非常願意為神韻拍一部片子。」

米爾德夫婦是從德國最有影響力的《法蘭克福彙報》了解到神韻消息的。「神韻應該經常來(法蘭克福)演出,她一定會在這兒傳播開的。」米爾德先生語氣肯定地預言。

金融家:只能意會的意境 讓人感到希望

神韻也傾倒了法蘭克福這個德國乃至歐洲的金融中心的金融家們。

米羅斯拉夫‧克蘭培爾(Miroslav Krampl)先生是一家金融代理公司的老闆,他的公司代理各式各樣的保險產品,擁有從私人到集團公司的大批客戶。經朋友介紹,觀看神韻在二十七日下午的演出後,克蘭培爾先生感嘆:「絕對一流!除了整體美的感受之外,我還感受到一種非常積極、非常好的能量,完全無法用語言來表達,只能意會,無法言傳。」

神韻同樣帶給資深金融顧問羅塔‧伯爾斯特(Lothar Borst)先生「一種輕鬆和快樂的感受」,他說,「演出展現出中華民族的勇氣,有一種非常積極的能量,引發我深深的思考。」

德國一家大銀行人事部部長凱斯(Andre von Keilz)先生認為神韻「無以倫比」:「二胡獨奏由悲愴轉換至喜悅,讓人感到希望和欣喜。天神由天幕徐徐而降,天幕與舞台結合得天衣無縫,令人嘆為觀止。男高音歌唱家的歌聲更是讓人感動。而且神韻傳遞給人們非常正面的信息。」

酒店業主:從中國通往西方的絲綢之路

「就像在中國飛行了兩個小時,我們看到了中國的一切。絢麗的顏色、美妙的文化,一切都那麼美!這場短暫的視覺和精神之旅讓我們度過了一個非常美好的夜晚。」當離開法蘭克福世紀大廳時,菲利紮德(Faelizade)夫婦還不願從這漫遊中回歸現實。

在法蘭克福擁有多家酒店的安托尼婭‧德米特魯克(Antonia Dmitruk)夫人認為,「神韻的音樂非常優美,特別是二胡美極了!她讓在西方文化薰陶下長大的我們感受到五千年的中國文化,這音樂鋪就了一條從中國通往西方的絲綢之路。」說話間,菲利紮德夫人的雙手做出輕軟的飄擺:「那舞蹈中的梅園真的好美!我能感受到風從花間吹過。」

菲利紮德先生是位戰鬥機飛行員,他很贊同妻子的看法:「我也有同感。我尤其喜歡舞蹈的優雅,女演員的那種東方的柔美。還有反映蒙古草原的舞蹈,服裝和天幕配合得天衣無縫,男演員的動作也那麼完美。那些罕見柔軟的動作已深深地刻在我的腦海裏,留在記憶裏……」

【明慧網二零一一年三月二日】(明慧記者宋心明台灣苗栗報導)二零一一年台灣燈會於二月十七日到二十八日在苗栗縣竹南頭份運動公園首次舉行,估計燈會總參觀人數已超過八百萬人次,創下二十二年來台灣燈會的最高記錄。法輪功學員精心製作了花燈,參加了此次燈會。

正統的藝術,不僅給予人優美的感受,也起著淨化心靈、提升道德的作用。法輪大法燈區展出「香蓮」、「法輪轉動新三才」、「飛天」、「論語」、「天人合一」、「轉法輪」、「覺者」等八個大型花燈,繽紛多元。轉動的法輪圖形讓許多民眾嘖嘖稱奇,紛紛拿出手機和相機將法輪圖形正轉九圈、反轉九圈的景象錄下。

法輪功學員在燈會開、閉幕日以及兩個周休假期都安排了腰鼓、合唱和中國古典舞舞蹈等精彩的表演,吸引眾多觀賞人潮。

腰鼓隊成員身穿金黃服飾,臉上洋溢燦爛甜美的笑容,喜氣洋洋,每當腰鼓隊一出場,那歡快的曲目、活潑熱鬧的鼓聲,以及整齊劃一的動作,立刻吸引人群聚焦,掌聲不絕於耳。

腰鼓隊的表演從晚間六、七點一直持續到十點,負責協調腰鼓隊表演的法輪功學員洪小姐表示,為了展現法輪大法的美好,大家都很期待每天的演出。她說:「每表演完一首曲目,主持人就會介紹法輪功真相,所以當人們走進這個場時,就會認識法輪功、知道法輪大法的美好。」

得法十三年的洪小姐在學煉法輪功之前體弱多病,她形容自己是「從頭到腳都不舒服,連正常工作都沒辦法做」。現在則是從早上就開始布置花燈、向民眾解說,到晚上連續表演三、四個小時都不會累,一身輕。她開心地說:「大家的心都是一致的,都是自願參與,貢獻一己之力。」「做講真相的事真是越做越高興、越做越輕快。」

除了打腰鼓,法輪功學員也現場演示法輪功五套功法,主持人向民眾介紹:法輪功的一切活動都是公開且免費的,五套功法動作優美、簡單易學。有民眾在聽完介紹後便熱切地向義工詢問煉功方法和煉功點。

正統藝術表演淨化人心

在燈會上,由法輪功學員組成的合唱團演唱的曲目包括:《法輪大法好》、《為你而來》、《請坐在我身邊》、《緣至》、《善緣來了》等,他們用歌聲向社會大眾傳達法輪大法的美好。不少民眾駐足聆聽。

這個合唱團團長黃家仁表示,團員來自各階層、各領域,有退休校長、教師、工程師、壽險經理和家庭主婦等,他們以四部混聲合唱,每週定期聚會練唱,平常著重心性的涵養與修煉,期勉以藝術和道德相結合,用歌聲向社會大眾傳達法輪大法的美好。

除了腰鼓和合唱的表演外,法輪功學員還表演了中國古典舞舞蹈,使在場民眾為之傾倒。

眾生明真相 唾棄腐敗中共

苗栗法輪功學員洪小姐透露,今年有中國大陸蘇州的花燈作品來此展出,主辦單位因懼怕來自中共的壓力拒絕台灣法輪大法學會、新唐人電視台和《大紀元時報》的燈區申請,遇到多重阻礙,但經由明白法輪功真相的議員和縣政府官員的極力爭取下最後得以展出。

洪小姐轉述善德人文協會理事長賴源順議員的談話表示,「我們要讓人看到台灣跟大陸不一樣的地方,可以融合每一個宗教,可以融合每一個團體,都是包容的,只要好的都可以。」

在布置燈區的期間也有一段特別的插曲。

一對剛從大陸來台灣探親的老夫婦看到法輪功學員的燈區時特別激動。他們經歷過文革和共產黨發起的各種「運動」,也非常認同法輪大法的美好並了解中共迫害法輪功的真相。聽完真相後,夫婦倆起了化名退出少先隊。年逾七十的老先生說:「我一下飛機看到台灣這麼乾淨,台灣人這麼和善,我就知道共產黨宣傳的全都是謊言,共產黨真的殺死太多人了,我都親自經歷過,真的很腐敗。」

許多參觀民眾表示,來到法輪功學員的燈區感到很舒服,特別純淨。為此,洪小姐則再一次強調,法輪功不收禮、不收費,一心只想把法輪大法的美好帶給所有的民眾,是最正的。

—— 法輪功學員持續講真相 越來越多的民眾覺醒

【明慧網二零一一年三月一日】(明慧記者李若雲美國舊金山報導)「我要向你們的師父道歉!我真的錯了!」年逾八十的葉麗珍(音)老太太對法輪功學員說:「我以前因為不明真相,曾經罵過大法和大法的師父──李老師,但是,我知道我錯了。現在,只要你們辦活動,我都來參加。」

二零一一年二月二十七日,舊金山的法輪功學員和支持者在舊金山華人聚集地──中國城花園角舉辦聲援九千萬中國人三退(退出中共邪黨及其團、隊組織)的集會遊行,吸引眾多的本地居民和遊客駐足觀看。在集會中,老太太葉麗珍拉著法輪功學員說:「我支持你們,你們的每個活動我都會來參加。」

「我終於明白了:法輪大法真的好!」

這位葉麗珍老太太雖年逾八十,拄著一根拐杖,但臉色紅潤,說話很有條理。她說,以前她錯誤聽信中共的謊言宣傳,曾錯罵大法,但是,後來由於法輪功學員給她講真相,「我終於明白了:法輪大法真的好!」

她說:「我接觸過的每一個法輪功學員都那麼好,他們對我很好,跟我講真相,還把各種真相資料和書給我看。我把所有法輪功的真相資料都看了。由於家庭關係我沒有讀過很多的書,認識的字不多,但是,我能看懂這些真相資料,這些資料說的每一句話都是真的,都是事實真相,是教人做好人。」

「我把那些真相資料掛在門口,我的鄰居看到了說我為甚麼掛法輪功的東西,他們還罵我。我告訴他們,這些法輪功的東西是滅邪的,能滅掉各種各樣的邪靈,也在保護著我。」

「是大法師父──李老師保護著我!」

葉麗珍老婆婆繼續不停地說:「我知道,是因為李老師保護著我。你看,我八十多歲了,患有嚴重的帕金森病多年。那時因為丈夫的父親是國軍的軍官,被中共迫害致死,我那時由於極度的悲憤,患了重病,後來還患了這個帕金森病。」

當被問到,為何中共迫害她及其家人,她還聽信中共的謊言宣傳,誤解法輪功?她說:「是啊,那時也不知道為甚麼就信了中共的媒體宣傳。不過,我現在真的知道我錯了。」

「法輪大法真的好啊!是有法輪大法的李老師一直在保護我。」當被問到,為甚麼她一直說法輪大法的師父保護了她?她說:「我現在一個人住在老人公寓,那些人都怕我不知道甚麼時候會死。如果不是有法輪大法的李老師保護,像我這樣身患如此重病,年歲又這麼大的人,早就死了,怎能活得這麼好。你看我現在,能吃能睡,精神也很好。我現在逢人就說‘法輪大法好!’。」

葉麗珍老婆婆還說:「現在夜裏時常有人敲我的門,我也不知道是誰。我一害怕就求李老師,請師父保護,然後周圍的環境就平靜了。我非常感謝李老師。」她又說了一遍:「是李老師保護了我。」

法輪功學員:越來越多的人明白真相

舊金山有數十萬華人,尤其中國城是華人聚集,遊人必到之地,自一九九九年七月,中共和江澤民動用國家機器開始迫害法輪功以後,鋪天蓋地用謊言宣傳,污衊詆毀法輪功,使許多民眾,尤其是中國人受騙,誤解法輪功。為了讓更多的人明白真相,自二零零五年十一月,舊金山地區的法輪功學員每天都在中國城設真相點,展示真相圖片,揭露迫害,告訴民眾法輪功是甚麼,中共如何邪惡,並規勸來自中國大陸的人士退出邪黨及其團隊組織(三退),不要與邪惡為伍。

中國城真相點的法輪功學員李女士說:「在我們真相點前,每天都人來人往。剛開始,不少不明真相的中國人罵我們,但是,有很多人接法輪功的真相資料和《九評共產黨》。現在,有越來越多的人明白真相,每天都有人在這個點聲明三退。」

法輪功學員甄先生指出:「有些人說勸人退黨是「搞政治」,其實恰恰相反,中共一直拉人加入它;而我們勸人退出它,正是勸人退出中共搞的邪惡政治。」

而今年自元月一日起,每個週末,舊金山學員都在花園角集體煉功,加大力度講真相。法輪功學員黃女士發現,現在的情況跟以前真的很不一樣,以前,大部份中國人都不敢或不願接法輪功真相資料,有的甚至謾罵學員,但現在很多中國人,尤其剛從中國大陸來的人都願意接資料看,了解法輪功的真相。

一位陳先生觀看了二月二十七日的聲援九千萬中國人的遊行。看著遊行隊伍,他連聲說:「好」。他認為這樣做,確實能起到很好的效果。中國城的一位華人老闆看到遊行隊伍中有法輪功學員時非常感動,多年前他就聽聞法輪功學員受到中共的迫害,為此他表示很難過。

來自廣東的陳先生也是當日觀看遊行集會的觀眾之一。他一年前在唐人街真相點登記了「三退」。他說自己的家庭是屬於中共所定義的「地富反壞右」份子,多次遭到中共迫害,他慶幸自己退出了中共這個邪惡組織。

一位姓譚的老先生看到隊伍經過時表示,應該舉辦這樣的遊行。

印尼法輪功學員受邀參加嘉年華會遊行

【明慧網二零一一年三月一日】二零一一年二月二十七日,為了慶祝印度人的新年,印尼中爪哇地區的三寶龍市舉行了新年遊行嘉年華會,法輪大法隊伍受邀參加了這次活動。市長表示在將要來臨的建城日還要繼續邀請法輪大法隊伍參加。

遊行從三寶龍(balai kota semarang )市政府開始,最後到達終點興幫•裏瑪( simpang lima),全程共二點五公里。遊行中途突然下起大雨,但法輪大法的遊行隊伍還是整齊的、有條不紊地向前行進,沿途受到觀眾的稱讚。

遊行到達終點興幫•裏瑪( simpang lima)的市政府前,法輪大法天國樂團再次為觀眾定點表演。

Falun Gong practitioners held banners on Chung-Hsiao Road and Shi-Hsian Road in front of the hotel to call for justice and an end to the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.

Cheng Chi-mei of the Falun Dafa Association of the South Taiwan Region said, “We hope that Chen Yunlin takes our message to mainland China after seeing and hearing our requests calling for an end to the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.”

In recent years, when CCP officials have visited Taiwan in the name of economic trade or cultural exchange, Falun Gong practitioners have held peaceful protests against the CCP’s persecution and called for justice. Chen Yunlin arrived in Taiwan on February 23. On the same evening, nearly 100 Falun Gong practitioners held banners in front of his hotel. The banners read, “Immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong,” “Falun Dafa is great,” “US Congress passed Resolution 605 calling on the CCP to stop the persecution of Falun Gong” and “Spanish National Court indicted Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Bo Xilai, Jia Qinglin, and Wu Guanzheng for their active participation in the persecution of Falun Gong in China.”

On February 24, Chen Yunlin arrived in Kaohsiung. Falun Gong practitioners held banners along the roads where he passed. One practitioner said that they wanted Chen and his delegation to see the banners with “Falun Dafa is great” and “Stop the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.” Ms. Cheng said that the police also understood the practitioners’ peaceful petition after the activity.

Falun Gong practitioner Hong Chi-hong said, “Falun Gong is a cultivation practice system that benefits any country, society and people. The CCP harvests vital organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. We call on the people of the world to stop the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong.”

On February 25, a practitioner held up a poster, on which he had written, “Director Chen Yunlin, show your conscience.” He said, “The CCP’s atrocities in persecuting Falun Gong are inhumane. Those CCP officials visiting Taiwan should check their conscience and stand on the side of justice to stop the persecution.”

Falun Gong practitioners held banners beside the entrance and exit of the Nice Prince Hotel and on Chung-Hsiao Road. Their activity won praise from passers-by. One business owner rolled down his car window and encouraged the practitioners.

The event in front of Nice Prince Hotel ended at 7 pm.

Sydney: Audiences Profoundly Moved by Shen Yun's Inner Beauty and Grace (Photos)

Renowned musicians impressed by precision of Shen Yun

Susan Collins, a violinist, with her husband Johannes Fritzsch, a conductor, at Shen Yun Performing Arts in Sydney, on Feb. 8.

Johannes Fritzsch, a renowned, German-born conductor attended the show with his wife, Susan Collins, a violinist and an Australian Centenary Medal recipient. The couple were very impressed by Shen Yun, especially the precision of the performers.

Maestro Fritzsch has been a conductor for 25 years and is the chief conductor of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. He is also the chief conductor of the Philharmonisches Orchester Graz and Grazer Oper in Austria.

“It was lovely, it was beautiful,” Mr. Fritzsch said of the show. “Very well paced and very well put together. I found the flow of the show very good.”

He particularly liked the digital backdrops and the two dance sets, Plum Blossom, and Herding on the Grasslands, which he said were his favorites.

Mr. Fritzsch thought the Shen Yun Orchestra was “excellent.”

“It was very, very good playing,” he said, adding, “It was extremely well timed, so precise with the stage and with the music.”

“We have three daughters and they would have loved this show, the costumes, the color,” he said.

Susan Collins, who performed as recitalist throughout Australia, USA, and Europe, currently lectures at the University of Newcastle Conservatorium.

“The sound of the orchestra was wonderful,” Ms. Collins said. “Even the sound of the strings wasn’t what you would expect for a normal Western orchestra. It was so immaculate.”

“I have heard Chinese instruments, but never mixed with Western instruments before.

“It was very precise, we were really taken by the timing of everything. Everything was put together so well.

“They had incredible strength—these dancers were leaping so high then landing with no noise.”

They were surprised how little they knew about some of the show’s contemporary themes, such as the courage of practitioners of the meditation discipline Falun Dafa in mainland China.

“What was extraordinary to us is that we knew so little about it before,” Ms. Collins said.

“I actually read up quite a bit before the show. I think it was very beautiful, with a very simple message, and it was beautiful.”

Also in the audience was Meg Larken, chair of Regional Arts New South Wales, and Elizabeth Rogers, CEO of Regional Arts of NSW.

"Great music and wonderful dancing," Ms. Larken said of Shen Yun Performing Arts' performance.

"We are very grateful to have tickets tonight to come and see this, because it’s very new to us and quite different from the things we’ve done.

“I’m learning about the wonderful movement … the movements are different, the music is different and the dancing is just amazing."

Ms. Rogers agreed, “It’s very beautiful, and the full orchestra in the pit and the dance company it’s amazing."

Ms. Larken added, "It is beautiful dancing and very skilled. It is a large company, there must be twenty or so people on stage at any given time. We will tell our friends [to see the show], we will most definitely tell our friends."

One of the performances Recalling the Great Qin, brings to life the terracotta army which is currently on exhibition at the NSW Art Gallery, and which Ms. Larken had seen earlier that morning.

She also talked about the performance depicting present day China’s human rights abuses, saying, “I do know what’s happening in China. What we believe in here [in Australia] is everybody having their family life and the freedom to choose their religion and the freedom to choose their expressions."

Actress Judy McBurney says Shen Yun “a very deep journey”

Australian actress Judy McBurney, was aglow after seeing Shen Yun with two of her friends.

“I'm glowing; I had such a beautiful time,” Ms. McBurney said.

“I actually saw this last week; this is my second time—I had to come along this week with my friends, and it was even better. It is just magical,” she added.

Ms. McBurney loved everything about the show.

“I love the message, I love the dancing, I love the music, I love the backdrop, all the technological stuff—the way they had angels coming down [off the screen] and then appearing on stage. I have never seen that before,” she enthused. “That is absolutely completely new to me and it is wonderful. They are extremely talented and very special people.”

One message that she took from the show was the need to be perennially aware.

“There is so much deceit going on in this world, and the message to me was, ‘Trust in God, trust in yourself and most importantly, be aware. Only with awareness can we survive and have a beautiful life.’ That is the message that I got that is most important, to be aware, and to trust your heart and to love.”

Ms. McBurney said that she also loved the Shen Yun Orchestra.

“It was incredible with the Eastern and Western instruments. They were a beautiful blend. I had to keep looking down to remind myself that is was a live orchestra. I thought it was just beautiful with the Chinese instruments and the Western instruments. Fantastic!”

Each of the solo vocalists' songs seemed to pack a lot of meaning for Ms. McBurney.

“Amazing, they sang from their heart, and because I couldn’t understand what they were singing, I loved the way they had it on the backdrop, they had it written in English, as well. You could really get what they were singing, and it was extremely important to understand, because it was very deep, very spiritual, very beautiful.”

Ms. McBurney thought the pianist was also wonderful, accentuating the beauty of the female performers.

“She just sat there. She had music, but she didn’t look at the music. She was just playing and I thought, ‘amazing, just amazing and extremely beautiful.’ All the women were so beautiful and the men were so beautiful and strong, and I loved the costumes … they were fabulous, everything was perfect. I have never seen a show like this before—except for last week!”

Ms. McBurney also teaches deportment, costumes and wardrobe for the renowned model and beauty agency, June Dally-Watkins.

“I just thought they were so feminine, so elegant, so regal,” she said. “I think a lot of the ladies around today aren’t like that, especially in the West. A lot of us aren’t like that. The ladies, the dancers on stage, they were so beautiful and feminine. I think a lot of us should think about that and remember that we are not boys.”

Ms. McBurney was clearly moved by her experience of Shen Yun, as evidenced by her concluding remarks.

“I would say, it's the most amazing experience I’ve ever had, and I'm an actress, I have seen a lot of shows, and you really can’t explain it. I said to the people I brought along tonight, just come along and see it, I really can’t explain. It is a real journey and it is a very deep journey, and come along.”

Musician and entertainer absolutely recommends Shen Yun

Accomplished musician and entertainer Margaret Britt saw the show at Sydney's Capitol Theatre on Feb. 10.

Margaret Britt, an accomplished musician and international entertainer, said that she was not impressed by any particular part or section of the show, rather, she was impressed by “all of it, all of it."

"I was just blown away by the whole lot, it was fantastic," she said.

“We really enjoyed this tonight. I came with another lady who is a dancer. We thought the costuming and everything was fantastic.”

Ms. Britt can play six different instruments, and says she currently plays lead guitar, harmonica, plus lead vocals as a duo or band.

Having a developed, critical eye for musical quality, Ms. Britt thought the Shen Yun Orchestra was “awesome—the orchestra was just fantastic ... love it, love it.”

Rosalind Bradley, a writer from Sydney, said Shen Yun was "a wonderful Chinese cultural experience," and that she was "very impressed" by the show.

She also learned a bit about China and its deep spiritual past.

"You know, you have got the history of China in dance ... and that was wonderful," she said.

Ms. Bradley described the dance set, Little Mischievous Monks, as “very fine, very precise ... as you'd expect.”

"It was certainly very beautiful … the female dancers were very genteel. I thought generally the level of skill was absolutely beautiful—it was fantastic. It was quite a spectacle, it's like nothing I’ve ever seen before," she said

Ms. Bradley said that she will definitely come back next year and will share her experience of Shen Yun with others.

Richard Neville: “There’s a great heart at the soul of this performance”

Richard Neville, author, social commentator, and champion of free speech, said that he found the show to be “fascinating.”

“I was intrigued by the mixture of entertainment, spirituality ... It’s unusual,” he said.

Mr. Neville described some dance scenes as “absolutely exciting and unexpected. The images were terrific,” adding that he had found the production “courageous and interesting. I enjoyed it.”

The opera singers also impressed him.

“I was very moved by some of the individual performers,” he said. "The baritone, the concert conductor, the pianist, and the people singing to microphone with spectacular voices. It was very moving, so I know there’s a great heart at the soul of this performance.”

Although not an expert on China, Falun Gong, or the “discrimination” that is occurring in China, Mr. Neville said, “I’m very sympathetic to people who explore outside the mainstream, who are looking for more than just capitalism and material success. So I found it a really interesting mixture and I look forward to getting to understand some of the issues in a deeper way.”

Elaborating further, Mr. Neville said, “I think that even in Australia, which is quite a material country, people are eager to explore issues beyond just shopping, acquiring, vanity, and wealth.”

Mr. Neville concluded, “I think a whole generation of people is exploring consciousness issues and, of course, this program touches on those consciousness issues, so I think ... it adds to the general kind of curiosity of individuals to find out more than just what goes on in the mainstream; to extend the boundaries of our curiosity and interest.”

Widespread Persecution of Falun Gong in China Continues Under the Guise of "Law and Order"
-- At Least 557 Falun Gong Practitioners Sentenced to Prison in 2010

(Clearwisdom.net) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has fabricated many false pretenses to seemingly "justify" the persecution of Falun Gong and to keep the world's people from learning the extent and severity of the persecution. The intense and pervasive propaganda campaign has been cleverly orchestrated right from the start, more than eleven years ago. The CCP has since moved the persecution itself more underground, misleading people with its propaganda on the surface, while broadly employing the legal system, under the guise of "law and order," to persecute Falun Gong.

According to the “Report on the Imprisonment and Forced Labor of Falun Gong Practitioners Since the 2008 Olympics” issued by the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong on July 15, 2010 (available in Chinese only at http://www.zhuichaguoji.org/node/3111), at least 1,361 practitioners were sentenced to prison from January 2008 to February 2010, with the longest term of 18 years and an average term of five years and one month.

In 2010, at least 557 practitioners were sentenced to prison, with 65 in Liaoning Province, and 51 in Heilongjiang Province. The persecution was also very severe in Shandong, Sichuan and Guangdong provinces.

The terms of imprisonment were mostly longer than three years, with 94 practitioners handed sentences ranging from seven to thirteen years. The practitioners sentenced are from all walks of life and include teachers, government officials, executives, factory workers and farmers.

Persecution Escalated

In the early years of the persecution, the CCP used mostly forced labor camps to detain Falun Gong practitioners. This was likely done to avoid the need for legal procedures. In China, the police can sentence people to forced labor without benefit of a trial or any due process of law. In the early years, for the most part, only practitioners who were Falun Gong coordinators were sentenced to prison. In recent years, however, while the widespread propaganda designed to turn public opinion against Falun Gong has slowed, the persecution has continued in a different way, with many more practitioners now being "tried" in the court system and being sentenced to lengthy prison terms.

As an example, in Jianyang City, Sichuan Province, there was only one practitioner sentenced and imprisoned in 2006; there were four in 2007; and six in 2009, with Ms. Lei Jinxiang sentenced to a nine-and-a-half-year term, Ms. Jia Zhengfen to an eight-and-a-half-year term, Mr. Zhang Shixiang to a six-year term, Ms. Liu Dehui to a four-year term, and Ms. Peng Xiuqiong to a three-year term.

Further examples are presented below:

Starting from July 16, 2009, Dandong City and Donggang City in Liaoning Province combined together, followed Falun Gong practitioners for five months, and then arrested 14 practitioners and their families on December 22, 2009. Among these 14 practitioners, five were heavily sentenced, with Mr. Zou Jiling sentenced to 10 years, Ms. Wang Chunhua to seven and half years, and Ms. Wang Fuhua to seven years.

During the 2010 World Expo, several dozen Falun Gong practitioners were arrested in Shanghai, and among these, seven were sentenced and imprisoned.

The Louxing District Court in Loudi City, Hunan Province heavily sentenced nine Falun Gong practitioners during a secret trial on August 3, 2010. Mr. Cao Gongxun was sentenced to a ten-year term; Mr. Liu Xinping to nine years; Mr. Zhou Qingfeng to five and a half years; Mr. Ouyang Zhong to three and a half years; Mr. He Jinlin to two years; Ms. Deng Lianzhen, Ms. Xie Guirong, Ms. Li Zaiying and Ms. Yuan Qiudi each received three years, with probation for four years.

Under the command of the Changde City, Hunan Province authorities, 610 Office Chair Wang Yongkang and several hundred officers ransacked the homes of over 30 Falun Gong practitioners, arrested them, and heavily sentenced eight practitioners on November 4, 2010. Ms. Liu Xianju was sentenced to ten years; Ms. Li Yunfang to nine and a half years; Mr. Wang Xiaohui to nine years; Mr. Li Haijun to eight and a half years; Ms. Liu Huiping to seven and a half years; Ms. Zeng Lihua to seven years; Mr. Man Sanqing to five years; and Ms. Chen Lingci was sentenced to three years.

The Xichang City Court in Sichuan Province issued the heaviest local sentencing since the persecution of Falun Gong began, in September 2010. Ms. Gao Deyu, 72, was sentenced to 12 years; Ms. He Xianzhen was sentenced to 10 years; Ms. Cheng Donglan to 10 years; and Ms. He Zhengqiong, who is a new practitioner, was sentenced to seven years.

Evidence of Darkness in the Chinese Legal System

Throughout all cases on the Clearwisdom website, the darkness of the CCP legal system is clearly evident. The 610 Office is an extra-judicial organization that acts outside the Chinese Constitution. It was specifically created to direct the persecution at all levels of the police, the Procuratorate, and justice bureaus. We see police-fabricated evidence, Procuratorate arrests and illegal lawsuits, and the courts issuing sentences in secret. Many judges, procurators, and police department directors have said that they cannot truly be in charge of these cases, as they must follow the directives of the 610 Office at every step. Some lawyers who uphold justice pointed out that using the law enforcement system to sentence Falun Gong practitioners is a blasphemy of the Constitution, because Falun Gong is not illegal and practitioners are not engaged in breaking the law. The persecution of Falun Gong is a persecution of a peaceful spiritual practice and is a major human rights disaster.

1. Police Violently Arrest and Rob Practitioners

Case 1.

Mr. He Yixing and his wife Ms. Zhang Yueqin lives in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. Mr. He retired from the Tanshan City Power Plant. On the morning of July 10, 2008, Tangshan City officials dispatched officers from the Diaoyutai Police Station to arrest Mr. He Yixing and Ms. Zhang Yueqin without any legal procedures. At 10:00 a.m. many police cars arrived. The police tried to pry open the lock on her residence but were unsuccessful. They later sent two fire engine ladder trucks and climbed up and broke into the south and north windows of Mr. He's sixth-floor home. They barged in through the windows and seized Ms. Zhang Yueqin and her husband. They stole more than 600,000 yuan that their daughter He Dan had borrowed for a business venture, and her business van. In January 2009, Lubei District Court sentenced Mr. He to seven years in prison, and Ms. Zhang Yueqin to five years in prison.

Case 2.

Mr. Bai Sanyuan, 47, lives in Jinxia Village, Pingbao Township, Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province. He was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in 2000 because he went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. He was inhumanly tortured, several times his life was in danger, and twice people thought he died in prison. Upon his release, his body was covered with injuries. He had to leave home to escape from repeatedly being arrested.

At 7:00 p.m. on May 16, 2010, led by Jingyuan County Police Department Deputy Director Chen Mingyue and Domestic Security Division Head Pan Qianrui, eight plainclothes officers drove to Mr. Bai's home. Since the gate was locked, these officers climbed over the wall, then forcibly opened their house door. Mr. Bai was hid in the grain storage. The officers called the Baiyin City Police Department for help. Nearly 30 uniformed police officers arrived. By 10:00 p.m., officers threw tear-gas bombs into the grain storage, causing Mr. Bai to pass out. The police took him directly to the Jingyuan County Detention Center. On May 20, 2010, two officers came to Mr. Bai's home, and ordered his wife to sign a document, but she refused. Mr. Bai was sentenced to six years in prison and locked in the Sixth Ward of Lanzhou City Prison on July 20, 2010.

2. Use of Torture to Extract False Confessions

Case 1.

Mr. Guo Xiaojun is a lecturer employed by the Computer Department of Shanghai Jiaotong University. In January 2010, officers from the Baoshan District Police Department arrested him without any reason, detained him in solitary confinement at the Baoshan District Detention Center, and tortured him with long-term sleep deprivation. This torture resulted in high blood pressure, losing his eyesight, and other physical problems. Despite the fact that he declared in court that “all evidence was obtained through torture,” prosecutor Chen Weidong and Judge Xu Minfang sentenced him to four years in prison.

Case 2.

On April 15, 2010, Mr. He Binggang, the owner and general manager of computer operations at Yuwen Technology in the Changning District of Shanghai and also a Falun Gong practitioner, was trapped by secret agents from the 610 Office in the Changning District and taken away. His case has received a lot of outside attention, and the authorities' underhanded tactics have been extensively reported. Although their names and job titles were publicized, the Changning Procuratorate still brought Mr. He to trial recently.

Mr. He Binggang, about 35 years old, graduated with a Master's degree from Fudan University in Shanghai. At 10:00 a.m. on April 15, 2010, Wang Jue from the Domestic Security Brigade (affiliated with the Changning Police Sub-Bureau) sent a secret agent to Mr. He's company under the guise of selling them his second-hand computer at a low price. A staff member in the computer operations department purchased the computer. Wang Jue was in plainclothes and had been waiting by the stairs of the Changning Technology Building for two hours where Mr. He's company is located. After the secret agent exited the building, Wang changed into his police uniform and, with several others, barged into the computer operations department, announcing that they were officers from the Tianshanlu Police Station in the Changning District, and had received a phone call saying that there were stolen items hidden in Mr. He's company. After they searched, they located a box of Falun Gong books that were planted there by the secret agent, as well as Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, in the cabinet. Wang Jue took Mr. He to the Tianshan Police Station, where he was beaten and tortured to force him to admit that the books and the Shen Yun DVD's were his.

In January 2011, Procuratorator Zhu Liqun, who is the Manager of the Appeals Department of Changning, and Gao Xun, brought Mr. He to trial in the Changning District Court. She also ordered the Changning Court to give Mr. He a heavy sentence, because Mr. He had Falun Gong books and he gave a DVD that contained information about the persecution of Falun Gong to a manager in his company.

3. Withholding Information from Family Members as to the Whereabouts of Incarcerated Practitioners

The authorities intentionally withhold information and do not inform practitioners' families of where practitioners are detained, when the cases are filed at the Procuratorate, when the lawsuit is filed in the court, or when the trials are scheduled. The families are thus unable to hire lawyers. The “open” trials are mostly held in secret.

For example, after detaining Mr. Mo Jiaxing for nine months, the Ji County 610 Office in Henan Province secretly sentenced him to five years in prison without notifying his family; Ms. Wang Sulan from Tangshan City, Hebei Province was arrested in Beijing in February 2009, but her family was never allowed to visit her until one year later, and the court mailed a sentencing statement telling her family she had been sentenced to nine years of imprisonment.

Another case is Ms. Yan Congzhi, 62, who lives in Dazhong Township, Baiquan County, Heilongjiang Province. The Dazhong Township Police Station director Wang Xugang deceived her into going to the County government on September 30, 2010, but they arrested and detained her in the Qiqihar City First Detention Center. Ms. Yan's family requested to visit her many times, but were refused every time. It wasn't until January 2011, that her son found out she was sentenced to four years in prison. He asked why the family wasn't notified during the trial, and the CCP official lied, saying that they could not find her family.

4. Making a Mockery of the Legal System

Ms. Shao Changfen and Ms. Shao Changhua are sisters who live in the Zhenxing District, Dandong City, Liaoning Province. They were arrested on September 6, 2010. The Zhenxing District police first decided to detain them for 15 days, but then sentenced them each to 18 months of forced labor on September 12 and 14, 2010. The police issued an arrest warrant, and planned to file a lawsuit and sentence the sisters to prison. These three decisions contradicted each other, since no one can serve detention, forced labor or be on trial simultaneously. The defense lawyer showed how the court disrespects the law, how the defendants had committed no crimes, and declared that they should be released unconditionally. Judge Tao Zhenhua declared the court in recess, but notified the family of Ms. Shao Changhua that she was sentenced to seven years in prison, while ten days later, Ms. Shao Changfen was sentenced to four years in prison.

5. Issuing Prison Sentences during Forced Labor

Ms. Ding Lu, 60, a retired doctor from Dalian City Boat Manufacture, was arrested in March 2009, and locked in the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Shenyang City, with an 18-month term. After being tortured more than a dozen days and deprived of sleep, she was forced to accept the brainwashing when she was in a confused state of mind. At the end of 2009, the guards told her to report to all detained Falun Gong practitioners about how she was “reformed”. With a clear mind, she took the opportunity to expose the brainwashing tactics that had been used on her. The guards quickly dragged her down, and tortured her until she couldn't think straight again. They took her back to the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City, and secretly sentenced her to five years in prison between February and March of 2010.

6. Blocking the Lawyers Who Uphold Justice

The CCP is extremely frightened of lawyers who uphold justice and defend the innocence of Falun Gong practitioners, and they try to block these lawyers from meeting their clients, reading their files, and threaten their families that they will fire these lawyers or force them to drop the case. They hold secret trials without notifying the lawyers, and unreasonably limit or stop lawyers from speaking in court, and even beat them up like the mafia. Lawyer Wang Yonghang was hired by the Ganjun Law Firm in Liaoning Province multiple times to defend Falun Gong practitioners, which offended the CCP. The police arrested him, and beat him until his leg was fractured. He was sentenced to seven years in prison on November 27, 2009 by the Shahekou District Court in Dalian City. In 2009, at least 21 lawyers who uphold justice have had their law practice certificates revoked, or their registration was delayed. Among these, 17 were those who defended Falun Gong practitioners.

Case 1: Mr. Guo Xiaojun's family hired five lawyers to defend him, but they were all threatened by the CCP and had to quit in fear that defending them would threaten their lives. Without any legal assistance, Mr. Guo Xiaojun was sentenced to four years in prison on July 7, 2010 (see Case 2 in 2. Use of Torture to Extract False Confessions).

Case 2: The second trial of Mr. Gong Shunhui was held in the Miyi County Court by the Panzhihua City Middle Court on January 12, 2010. Lawyers Li Jinglin and Li Subin from Beijing defended Mr. Gong Shunhui. The police did not allow the defense witnesses and family to enter the court, and suddenly denied Lawyer Li Subin's right to defend his client. Mr. Gong Shunhui argued his right to use two lawyers, and the judge immediately stopped him from talking, and said he had to listen to the judge, otherwise he would leave without a trial. Thus, Mr. Li Subin gave up his right to defend his client for the sake of having the trial on time, and he sat in the audience.

Mr. Li Jinglin defended Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Gong Shunhui's innocence. He stated: “Miyi County Domestic Security Division Chief Yang Zihua and Deputy Chief Li Xuesong, led officer Zhou Sen to illegally intrude on Mr. Gong Shunhui's home which is in violation of the constitution. It is impossible that Mr. Gong violated the law like the prosecutor accused, because that crime does not exist. Falun Gong believers practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and this conforms to the constitutional right of freedom of belief, and no one has the right to interfere with an individual's belief.” The judge threatened him, saying, “You are not a Chinese, but Falun Gong sent you from the U.S. The police and State Security agents are waiting for you outside if you continue.”

Case 3: In November 2010, Ms. Teng Yingfen was issued an arrest warrant, which meant she would be sent to trial. Her husband hired a lawyer from Beijing to defend her. The trial was held secretly in December 2010, not allowing the family or lawyer to enter the detention center where the secret trial was held. In addition, the police arrested Ms. Teng' husband Sun Guo, and sentenced Ms. Teng to four years in prison.

Case 4: Ms. Ye Qiaoming is an employee of the Fujian Province Normal University. The Cangshan District Court formerly decided to hold a trial on March 4, 2010, but instantly canceled the trial upon hearing that her son hired two lawyers from Beijing, and requested to allow witnesses to appear at the trial on March 3, 2010. The Fuzhou City Domestic Security agents forced Ms. Ye's young son, a college freshman, to quit hiring the lawyers, and threatened him in the Police Department. He had to sign the paperwork under enormous pressure. Ms. Ye was sentenced to three years of imprisonment without a defense lawyer, with four years' probation.

Case 5: Mr. Jiang Xiqing, 66, was a retired employee of the Jiangjin District Tax Bureau in Chongqing. He was tortured to death in the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp on January 28, 2009. On the afternoon of May 13, 2009, Mr. Jiang's son hired lawyers Zhang Kai and Li Chunfu (both from Beijing), who tried to investigate his death case, but they were beaten and injured by more than 20 officers. They were thrown down on the floor, handcuffed with their arms behind their back, hung up in a metal cage, and interrogated for over five hours while being hung up and beaten.

7. Secret Sentencing after Trial Recessed

Case 1: The Donggang City Court in Liaoning Province held trials for Mr. Zou Jiling, Mr. Wang Fuhua and Mr. Wang Chunhua on July 1, 2, and 22, 2010. Six lawyers defended their innocence. The judge and prosecutors had no words to say, and announced a court recess, but still sentenced these three practitioners to 10 years, seven years, and seven years in prison, respectively.

Case 2: Seven practitioners from the Bayuquan District, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province were arrested and their homes ransacked on September 23, 2009. They are Ms. Dong Bing, Mr. Bi Shijun, Ms. Sun Li, Mr. Shen Guanghai, Mr. Yu Zhihong, Mr. Wang Zhiyuan, Mr. Teng Wenmin. The Bayuquan District Court held the first trial on March 23, 2010. These families hired four lawyers to defend their innocence, and requested their release in court since no evidence supported the charges. The judge announced a “recess.”

On June 1, 2010, the second trial was held, but the court intentionally did not notify the lawyers. These seven practitioners defended themselves, and one practitioner revealed how he was tortured during interrogation. The judge announced a “recess” again.

The court held secret trials after one month, without notifying their families or lawyers. Ms. Sun Li refused to attend when she saw that no family members or lawyers had arrived. The police officers beat and injured her. They sentenced each with a heavy term: Ms. Dong Bing and Mr. Bi Shijun each received seven years; Mr. Shen Guanghai and Ms. Sun Li each got five years; Ms. Wang Zhihong three and half years; Mr. Wang Zhiyuan was sentenced to 18 months; and Ms. Teng Wenmin was sentenced to three years with five years' probation.

8. Middle Court Upholds the First Trial's Sentence Without a Court Session

The Middle Court is also controlled by the 610 Office system. Before the 2008 Olympics, seven practitioners from Tangshan City, Hebei Province were arrested and detained. They are Ms. Jiao Xuemei, Mr. Luo Zhijian, Ms. Sun Cuiqing, Ms. Zhao Yabin, Mr. Sun Fengli, Ms. Zhang Yueqin, Mr. He Yixing. Some of them had their home ransacked and were sentenced, and they appealed. Before the second trial by the Middle Court, the families hired lawyers who requested an open trial by the Middle Court for Ms. Jiao Xuemei, Mr. Luo Zhijian, Ms. Sun Cuiqing, and Ms. Zhao Yabing. The judge of the Middle Court said he would uphold the first trial's sentencing, and he would not hold an open trial.

關係

【大紀元12月5日訊】藝術就是時代的一面鏡子,真實的反映著當代人們的價值觀和審美觀。同時,藝術也在感染著世人,影響著社會風氣。

前言

過去,宇宙中有一個「成、住、壞、滅」的規律:任何事物都有一個從形成到發展成熟、維持、進入衰敗,最終毀滅的過程。毀滅的同時也在醞釀著下一次的新生。

大至整個天體、星系,小至肉體細胞,從生命到物質,包括人類的歷史上每一次帝國的起落、朝代的更替、文明的興衰,都在這個規律中循環往復,週而復始。

在這些文明的興替中,人類的藝術也歷經無數次的發展和衰敗。它伴隨著人類文明的腳步前進,從技術的不成熟到成熟,從粗糙生硬發展到精緻完美;但也隨著文明的衰敗而沒落。

遠古文明

誰也不知道,人類的藝術始自何時。在我們認為民智未開的遠古時期,卻已經發現許多掌握了技術和具有巧思的文物遺蹟。它們形形色色、品質不一,有些像是初期原始工具打造、造形樸拙的,也有追求精緻美感的高度文明遺蹟;更有形象怪異,甚至接近於現代藝術抽像風格的文物。而這些文物卻沒有年代上必然的邏輯關係。

事實上,許多古代遺蹟,或許已經為對我們揭示了謎底,特別是一些盛極一時,卻又在一夕之間突然消失的文明。

距今5000~6000年在中國北方的紅山文化就是一個例子。從當地出土的大量精緻玉器中,可看到高度發展的技術,同時也看到道德敗壞後縱慾的遺蹟……

在西方古希臘,克裏特島上的邁諾安文明(Minoan)繁榮強盛,尤以最後的米諾斯王朝達到頂點,愛琴海諸國都不得不納貢稱臣。然而,這個海上霸權在西元前 1500年桑托林火山爆發時被完全摧毀了。曾經華麗的王宮廢墟中除了精美的壁畫和器物,卻也留下了濫殺無辜、以活人祭祀的證據。

繼之而起的邁錫尼人擁有大量的黃金和財富,也有強大的軍隊和武器。幾乎所有遺留下的器物文飾都是以戰爭為題材。只是這個好戰的強權也在公元十二世紀末突然結束,所有的王宮和城鎮都遭毀棄。自此希臘進入了持續數百年的「黑暗時代」。人口驟減,文物貧乏,各項技藝也失傳了。

我們熟知的希臘文化,就是從上一期文明的廢墟中從新發展起來的。初期從陶器上單調的幾何風格,發展到線條流暢、造形優美生動的彩繪;建築方面出現了許多典雅莊嚴的神殿;雕塑也從早期的生硬呆板逐漸成熟到逼真完美。

座落在德爾非的阿波羅神殿,牆上昭示著四大準則﹕《至美即至公》、《遵守分限》、《毋驕縱》、《毋過度》。希臘人的審美意識就建立在這個公正均衡、理性節制的基礎上。

在希臘神話中,阿波羅執掌光明、真理、音樂與藝術;他與眾繆斯女神居住在帕那索山,代表著藝術的神聖殿堂與最高典範。希臘藝術中均衡、和諧、高雅、莊重、平和、內斂等盡善盡美的品質盡在其中,也就是後世西方藝術所尊奉的《古典精神》。與之相對的是酒神戴奧尼索斯,代表著恍惚、激情、放縱、不規範、破壞一切規則的混亂之神。這種性質在藝術表現中也起著一定的作用。

希臘雕塑的《古典時期》大約在西元前五世紀中開始,是希臘藝術進入成熟完美的時期,也是希臘社會文化、智識發展的高峰,號稱「希臘的黃金時代」。此時作品展現了人體的理想比例、準確的結構、完美的均衡感;可貴的是除了外在的美感,這些雕像更流露出一種平靜、超然,高貴,深邃的內在凝練。

然而,根據史料記載和考古發現,在古希臘擁有發達文明的同時,人們生活也逐漸奢侈靡爛,道德淪喪。從一些藝術文物中毫不掩飾的淫穢題材可見一斑。

在伯羅奔尼薩戰爭期間,雅典城中突然爆發瘟疫,造成半數以上的居民和1/4的士兵死亡,連政治領袖伯里克利也難逃一劫。此後雅典社會結構崩潰,盜竊、謀殺和搶劫橫行;雅典文明再難恢復。

希臘被馬其頓征服後,進入到希臘化時期(323 ~ 146 B.C),此時雕像題材逐漸走向現實化、生活化,對人物的表情也開始著墨,更具有人性。亞歷山大在東征西討的同時,也把希臘藝術傳播到各地,對世界產生了更深遠而廣泛的影響。

藝術見證羅馬帝國的興衰

西元前146年,羅馬人將希臘納入版圖,並且承襲了希臘藝術;不但模仿希臘作品,並重用希臘藝術家。

在建築上羅馬人成就輝煌,他們一方面改良希臘建築中的元素(如柱式),一方面發展出羅馬特色的拱形結構建築。在帝國盛期,建築多用以宣揚國威、表彰功績等;於是壯麗的凱旋門、紀功柱、廣場和神廟都一一出現;公共設施如劇場、競技場與浴場等也逐漸趨於宏大與豪華。

務實的羅馬人原本在雕像方面就具備了逼真寫實的傳統,後來也兼容了希臘藝術的理想化特質,出現了許多真實而動人的傑作。而用於建築裝飾的繪畫上,也已自然地運用了透視法和明暗法,一些壁畫甚至具有自然主義及浪漫主義的氣氛。

同樣的,羅馬帝國在建立強權後,驕縱淫逸的風氣也越來越盛。從被火山摧毀的龐貝城內可見到當時人沉溺酒色的證據,妓院牆上不堪入目的春宮畫隨處可見。競技場上經常上演著血腥的格鬥和廝殺,甚至將手無寸鐵的基督徒趕到場內任由猛獸吞食。這種罪惡卻被皇帝和成千上萬的觀眾民眾習以為常,視為娛樂項目之一。

從西元165年到266年,強盛的羅馬帝國在百年中發生了5次大鼠疫,死者纍纍,經濟一片蕭條。西元五世紀,野蠻民族入侵羅馬,這輝煌的帝國就在瘟疫和戰亂中結束。即使在東方倖存的東羅馬帝國,也在西元541年到591年期間,發生數次瘟疫,直至1/4的人口死亡。歐洲文明再次進入黑暗時期:文物被大量破壞、藝術家凋零,技藝失傳。這是宇宙「成、住、壞、滅」的規律又一次的見證。

近代藝術的「成、住、壞、滅」

中世紀歐洲雖被野蠻民族統治,但這些民族卻接受了基督教,因此中世紀的藝術家多是為榮耀神的而工作的無名奉獻者。然而由於前次文明的破壞,中世紀藝術基本上屬於從前次文明的壞滅中從新摸索的階段,直到文藝復興時期藝術才邁向成熟。其間歷經了基督教早期美術、拜佔廷美術、羅馬式美術和哥德式藝術;從裝飾性的平面樣式的,逐漸走向自然寫實;從嚴謹壓抑的宗教象徵模式漸漸走向溫和的人性化表現,預示了文藝復興的到來。這一段發展過程,正是人類藝術再次興起的「成」的階段。

「成」—— 中世紀到文藝復興盛期

西元14世紀至16世紀間的歐洲,在文化、藝術方面出現了空前的飛躍和蓬勃發展,造就了一段偉大的創作和智識活動時期,即所謂的《文藝復興》。在短短不到200年間,人類的美術從不成熟達到了高峰。

文藝復興的建築、彫刻、繪畫、各種工藝都有傲然成就。特別在繪畫上,人類的技法首度達到了前所未有的寫實逼真:透視法的運用創造了亂真的空間效果,人體解剖的研究提升了人體結構的準確性,油畫媒材的改良促成了物體細膩逼真的質感和光線的透明感,而純熟的明暗掌握也使得物體的體積和量感更自然真實……

由於人們在古物中再次發現了古代希臘羅馬藝術的美好,提倡學習古典美學原則,以達到理性、和諧、準確、逼真的表現技法。加上人文主義提倡以人為中心的現世精神,藝術家便從觀察自然中學習如何真實呈現,並且以此現實(寫實)方式描寫神和宗教故事,以拉進神與人的距離。

所以在創作的內涵上,對神信仰和對希臘羅馬古典美學的溯源和探究,保障了美術創作中追求善與美的正向價值;為近代人類文明再次建立了阿波羅式的古典精神與完美形式,同時再次為後世樹立了典範,和衡量藝術價值的永恆標準。

人們經常把達芬奇、米開蘭基羅、拉斐爾三位藝術巨匠的成就和文藝復興盛期等同起來。他們的許多作品至今仍被認為是難以超越的經典之作。上蒼在賦予這些藝術家們天縱英才的同時,也託付了他們帶領人類的藝術走向成熟的歷史使命,讓人們知道什麼是美,什麼是真正的藝術,以及如何去完成作品。

達芬奇認為只有「真實」才是神的旨意。為了真實的描寫人物,達芬奇把繪畫當作一門科學,不僅鑽研人體數學比例與解剖,還經常觀察人的神情、動作和肢體語言。他認為藝術的最重要的,是要描繪出人物的「靈魂之所趨」;也就是人物的心理、情感、氣質和內在意向。達芬奇善運用油畫技巧,特別是暈塗法,描繪出的人物神情細緻不可捉摸。

米開朗基羅則是以壯闊陽剛的人體之美震撼觀眾。他認為人類是神所賦予的至高無上的形象,卻也是靈魂在世間的枷鎖,因此他以人體為唯一體材,創作出氣勢雄渾的曠世巨作。米開蘭基羅雖然少有油畫作品,但是他的人體結構明確而堅實,動態千變萬化可謂登峰造極,對後世人物畫影響深巨。西斯汀禮拜堂的壁畫《創世紀》和《最後的審判》,從創造天地與人類、原罪和墮落、先知的預告,直到神的降臨和最後的審判,展現了宇宙與人類歷史的偉大詩篇。在氣勢磅礡的架構中,人們看到了神的莊嚴偉大,善惡必報的天理,震撼人心。米開蘭基羅的成就更確立了人物畫在表現崇高的精神性與道德內涵時不可取代的重要地位。

當然,文藝復興盛期貢獻巨大的還包括嚴謹精細的北方藝術家和色彩變化豐富的威尼斯畫家,都是使文藝復興的藝術樣貌更為豐富和完整的功臣。

「住」—— 文藝復興盛期到十九世紀中

文藝復興盛期的藝術一旦達到頂峰,成為經典之後;幾乎也為後世的藝術定型了。江山代有才人出,此後的二、三百多年的藝術水平,可說都維持在成熟之後的一定高度。

只是若以古典精神的理性、完美形式、準確而嚴謹的創作品質作為標準,則因不同時代、不同地區會因背景和社會風氣不同而有差異。例如巴洛可時期追求的華麗誇張、宗教激情和奔放的筆觸,與其說是阿波羅的古典精神,還不如說趨向酒神戴奧尼索斯式的激情。也由於畫幅加大,使得繪畫筆法變得簡略,畫面的次要細節或被簡化。而洛可可風格則反映了貴族的頹廢享樂。

十八世紀末出現的新古典主義則是阿波羅式美學的再次提倡,在理性主義以及龐貝考古熱的氛圍下,出現了許多以古希臘羅馬為題材,表現莊重、均衡的理想美的作品。

然而,由於大革命造成的世局動盪,和對自由與個人的鼓吹,使得浪漫主義很快的取而代之:騷動不安的構圖、濃烈的用色和粗曠的筆觸,悲情的屠殺、災難場面…… 群眾的口味再次傾向於酒神式的激情、狂放。事實上,從繪畫的細部來看,古典和浪漫的差異不只在於表面風格,對基本功的嚴謹程度要求也有落差。

浪漫主義的影響繼續延伸至寫實主義,此處的「寫實」非指技法,而是對社會現象和對人、事、物的如實刻畫。例如法國畫家庫爾貝就曾說:「我只畫眼睛看到的的事物。」但是當時嚴重社會問題與道德下滑的影響下,使得畫家多取材於人性病態與陰暗面;不再強調理想美。雖說呈現了社會現實,但若藝術過於強調負面現象,失去了對善與美的本質追求,便難再具有提升人心的力量,對社會的影響也將是負面的。

浪漫主義和寫實主義,也為後來的印象派的出現做了鋪墊。

「壞」—— 印象派到現代主義

十九世紀70年代,印象派在爭議聲中躍上了藝術史的舞台,也宣告了現代主義的到來。

很多人認為印象派為繪畫帶來了觀念和技法的進步。印象派雖然借用了科學的理論和名詞,但事實上創作時全憑個人主觀感受來分解色光,並不是真的那麼「科學」和「理性」的。而且印象派畫家在跳躍式的並列對比色彩時,也犧牲了物體的結構、肌理和質感,而進入一種恍惚、模糊、夢幻的視覺經驗,實質也是屬於酒神式的非理性體驗。此後藝術家越來越強調主觀的感受,刻意追求個人風格,有意擺脫傳統。於是,文藝復興以來畫家建立的空間、明暗、質感、人體結構概念逐漸解體,甚至被完全拋棄。加上藝術家認為藝術要「獨立自主」,把描述性或表現道德價值視為為對藝術的束縛;結果造成繪畫只重表象而缺乏內涵。

其實,印象派以至後來的現代藝術,拋棄的正是累積了數百年前人智慧經驗、西方最值得驕傲的、兼具寫實功力、理想美與高尚道德內涵的藝術正統。

如果持平的來比較兩幅同時代的人物作品,一是堅持古典精神的學院派大師布格羅所作;一幅是印象派雷諾瓦的作品,顯然兩者在人體的結構、肌理、質感、色彩的處理方式上有著天壤之別,品味也大異其趣。即使個人喜好可能不同,但是以技巧而言,哪一個更為精確、嚴謹、難度更高、更接近完美呢?新的真的進步嗎?

「滅」—— ?

藝術就是時代的一面鏡子,真實的反映著當代人們的價值觀和審美觀。所以在道德下滑、是非不分的年代,醜惡的會被讚揚,美好的反而被輕視。

現代藝術認為創作就是求新求變,錯誤的把所謂「反傳統」、「前衛」當作藝術的進步。一味追求膚淺、表面的創新,執著於表現「自我」。事實上為私為己的藝術家,作品境界必然不高。而正統藝術強調表現的多是無私的普世價值,從神與天國的榮耀、英雄偉人的事跡到歌頌自然世界的美好;散發出來的也是純正的能量。

而現代創作多屬實驗性,追求一時的效果,曇花一現;缺乏真正的永恆價值。或如強調偶然效果、幾率;或使用現成物(達達主義是始做俑者),美其名「什麼都可以是藝術」的創作觀念,實際上是一種投機取巧、不嚴肅、不負責的態度。當藝術變的如此廉價時,實則在貶低藝術;對高度技巧、傳達善與美的真正藝術更是一種褻瀆。

當代藝術光怪陸離的現象,難以一一枚舉。事實上,現代藝術的敗壞,超過歷史上的任何文明衰落時藝術的敗壞。過去的敗壞可能只表現在題材的墮落,風格的狂放,還存在技法的基本要求;而現代藝術不僅題材上墮落,從創作模式、表現的內涵到審美觀念,早已超出了戴奧尼索斯的激情;呈現的是更加毀滅性的破壞。反藝術、非藝術,追求荒誕、不邏輯、虛無……以破壞為好,以醜為美的結果,色情的、暴力的、血腥的、妖魔鬼怪的……毫不忌諱的以藝術之名搬進藝術殿堂;污染著人的心靈、混淆著世界的價值觀的同時,更加重了道德的敗壞,人類在不自覺中走向危險的邊緣。就以上現象看來,這些現代藝術看似豐富多元的發展,實則早已扼殺了真正的人類正統藝術。

人類文明發展至今,生存危機四伏;自然嚴重破壞、社會道德淪喪、亂象頻生。這樣的背景下,失去了標準的現代藝術絕不是一片欣欣向榮的美景;而是相應的處於「壞」、甚至《滅》的歷史階段。

現今藝術工作者的使命

然而,就像我們一開始談到的,歷史規律是週而復始的。壞、滅當中會有淘汰,也還會醞釀新生。如果人能夠覺察自身的錯誤,修正自己的言行與心態,藝術還是有回升、進入下一次的復興的機會。

本文甘冒現代潮流之大不韙而大膽拋出,實為正本清源,同時提供世人另一個思考方向。希望藉以鼓勵有理想、有技能的當代藝術家們,認識自己的使命,堅持藝術的理想與個人的道德修為,帶領人類走回正統的藝術之路,這也是人類危機的真正出路。

從「成、住、壞、滅」的歷史觀來看文明與藝術的關係

【大紀元12月5日訊】藝術就是時代的一面鏡子,真實的反映著當代人們的價值觀和審美觀。同時,藝術也在感染著世人,影響著社會風氣。

前言

過去,宇宙中有一個「成、住、壞、滅」的規律:任何事物都有一個從形成到發展成熟、維持、進入衰敗,最終毀滅的過程。毀滅的同時也在醞釀著下一次的新生。

大至整個天體、星系,小至肉體細胞,從生命到物質,包括人類的歷史上每一次帝國的起落、朝代的更替、文明的興衰,都在這個規律中循環往復,週而復始。

在這些文明的興替中,人類的藝術也歷經無數次的發展和衰敗。它伴隨著人類文明的腳步前進,從技術的不成熟到成熟,從粗糙生硬發展到精緻完美;但也隨著文明的衰敗而沒落。

遠古文明

誰也不知道,人類的藝術始自何時。在我們認為民智未開的遠古時期,卻已經發現許多掌握了技術和具有巧思的文物遺蹟。它們形形色色、品質不一,有些像是初期原始工具打造、造形樸拙的,也有追求精緻美感的高度文明遺蹟;更有形象怪異,甚至接近於現代藝術抽像風格的文物。而這些文物卻沒有年代上必然的邏輯關係。

事實上,許多古代遺蹟,或許已經為對我們揭示了謎底,特別是一些盛極一時,卻又在一夕之間突然消失的文明。

距今5000~6000年在中國北方的紅山文化就是一個例子。從當地出土的大量精緻玉器中,可看到高度發展的技術,同時也看到道德敗壞後縱慾的遺蹟……

在西方古希臘,克裏特島上的邁諾安文明(Minoan)繁榮強盛,尤以最後的米諾斯王朝達到頂點,愛琴海諸國都不得不納貢稱臣。然而,這個海上霸權在西元前 1500年桑托林火山爆發時被完全摧毀了。曾經華麗的王宮廢墟中除了精美的壁畫和器物,卻也留下了濫殺無辜、以活人祭祀的證據。

繼之而起的邁錫尼人擁有大量的黃金和財富,也有強大的軍隊和武器。幾乎所有遺留下的器物文飾都是以戰爭為題材。只是這個好戰的強權也在公元十二世紀末突然結束,所有的王宮和城鎮都遭毀棄。自此希臘進入了持續數百年的「黑暗時代」。人口驟減,文物貧乏,各項技藝也失傳了。

我們熟知的希臘文化,就是從上一期文明的廢墟中從新發展起來的。初期從陶器上單調的幾何風格,發展到線條流暢、造形優美生動的彩繪;建築方面出現了許多典雅莊嚴的神殿;雕塑也從早期的生硬呆板逐漸成熟到逼真完美。

座落在德爾非的阿波羅神殿,牆上昭示著四大準則﹕《至美即至公》、《遵守分限》、《毋驕縱》、《毋過度》。希臘人的審美意識就建立在這個公正均衡、理性節制的基礎上。

在希臘神話中,阿波羅執掌光明、真理、音樂與藝術;他與眾繆斯女神居住在帕那索山,代表著藝術的神聖殿堂與最高典範。希臘藝術中均衡、和諧、高雅、莊重、平和、內斂等盡善盡美的品質盡在其中,也就是後世西方藝術所尊奉的《古典精神》。與之相對的是酒神戴奧尼索斯,代表著恍惚、激情、放縱、不規範、破壞一切規則的混亂之神。這種性質在藝術表現中也起著一定的作用。

希臘雕塑的《古典時期》大約在西元前五世紀中開始,是希臘藝術進入成熟完美的時期,也是希臘社會文化、智識發展的高峰,號稱「希臘的黃金時代」。此時作品展現了人體的理想比例、準確的結構、完美的均衡感;可貴的是除了外在的美感,這些雕像更流露出一種平靜、超然,高貴,深邃的內在凝練。

然而,根據史料記載和考古發現,在古希臘擁有發達文明的同時,人們生活也逐漸奢侈靡爛,道德淪喪。從一些藝術文物中毫不掩飾的淫穢題材可見一斑。

在伯羅奔尼薩戰爭期間,雅典城中突然爆發瘟疫,造成半數以上的居民和1/4的士兵死亡,連政治領袖伯里克利也難逃一劫。此後雅典社會結構崩潰,盜竊、謀殺和搶劫橫行;雅典文明再難恢復。

希臘被馬其頓征服後,進入到希臘化時期(323 ~ 146 B.C),此時雕像題材逐漸走向現實化、生活化,對人物的表情也開始著墨,更具有人性。亞歷山大在東征西討的同時,也把希臘藝術傳播到各地,對世界產生了更深遠而廣泛的影響。

藝術見證羅馬帝國的興衰

西元前146年,羅馬人將希臘納入版圖,並且承襲了希臘藝術;不但模仿希臘作品,並重用希臘藝術家。

在建築上羅馬人成就輝煌,他們一方面改良希臘建築中的元素(如柱式),一方面發展出羅馬特色的拱形結構建築。在帝國盛期,建築多用以宣揚國威、表彰功績等;於是壯麗的凱旋門、紀功柱、廣場和神廟都一一出現;公共設施如劇場、競技場與浴場等也逐漸趨於宏大與豪華。

只是若以古典精神的理性、完美形式、準確而嚴謹的創作品質作為標準,則因不同時代、不同地區會因背景和社會風氣不同而有差異。例如巴洛可時期追求的華麗誇張、宗教激情和奔放的筆觸,與其說是阿波羅的古典精神,還不如說趨向酒神戴奧尼索斯式的激情。也由於畫幅加大,使得繪畫筆法變得簡略,畫面的次要細節或被簡化。而洛可可風格則反映了貴族的頹廢享樂。

十八世紀末出現的新古典主義則是阿波羅式美學的再次提倡,在理性主義以及龐貝考古熱的氛圍下,出現了許多以古希臘羅馬為題材,表現莊重、均衡的理想美的作品。

然而,由於大革命造成的世局動盪,和對自由與個人的鼓吹,使得浪漫主義很快的取而代之:騷動不安的構圖、濃烈的用色和粗曠的筆觸,悲情的屠殺、災難場面…… 群眾的口味再次傾向於酒神式的激情、狂放。事實上,從繪畫的細部來看,古典和浪漫的差異不只在於表面風格,對基本功的嚴謹程度要求也有落差。

浪漫主義的影響繼續延伸至寫實主義,此處的「寫實」非指技法,而是對社會現象和對人、事、物的如實刻畫。例如法國畫家庫爾貝就曾說:「我只畫眼睛看到的的事物。」但是當時嚴重社會問題與道德下滑的影響下,使得畫家多取材於人性病態與陰暗面;不再強調理想美。雖說呈現了社會現實,但若藝術過於強調負面現象,失去了對善與美的本質追求,便難再具有提升人心的力量,對社會的影響也將是負面的。

浪漫主義和寫實主義,也為後來的印象派的出現做了鋪墊。

「壞」—— 印象派到現代主義

十九世紀70年代,印象派在爭議聲中躍上了藝術史的舞台,也宣告了現代主義的到來。

很多人認為印象派為繪畫帶來了觀念和技法的進步。印象派雖然借用了科學的理論和名詞,但事實上創作時全憑個人主觀感受來分解色光,並不是真的那麼「科學」和「理性」的。而且印象派畫家在跳躍式的並列對比色彩時,也犧牲了物體的結構、肌理和質感,而進入一種恍惚、模糊、夢幻的視覺經驗,實質也是屬於酒神式的非理性體驗。此後藝術家越來越強調主觀的感受,刻意追求個人風格,有意擺脫傳統。於是,文藝復興以來畫家建立的空間、明暗、質感、人體結構概念逐漸解體,甚至被完全拋棄。加上藝術家認為藝術要「獨立自主」,把描述性或表現道德價值視為為對藝術的束縛;結果造成繪畫只重表象而缺乏內涵。

其實,印象派以至後來的現代藝術,拋棄的正是累積了數百年前人智慧經驗、西方最值得驕傲的、兼具寫實功力、理想美與高尚道德內涵的藝術正統。

如果持平的來比較兩幅同時代的人物作品,一是堅持古典精神的學院派大師布格羅所作;一幅是印象派雷諾瓦的作品,顯然兩者在人體的結構、肌理、質感、色彩的處理方式上有著天壤之別,品味也大異其趣。即使個人喜好可能不同,但是以技巧而言,哪一個更為精確、嚴謹、難度更高、更接近完美呢?新的真的進步嗎?

「滅」—— ?

藝術就是時代的一面鏡子,真實的反映著當代人們的價值觀和審美觀。所以在道德下滑、是非不分的年代,醜惡的會被讚揚,美好的反而被輕視。

現代藝術認為創作就是求新求變,錯誤的把所謂「反傳統」、「前衛」當作藝術的進步。一味追求膚淺、表面的創新,執著於表現「自我」。事實上為私為己的藝術家,作品境界必然不高。而正統藝術強調表現的多是無私的普世價值,從神與天國的榮耀、英雄偉人的事跡到歌頌自然世界的美好;散發出來的也是純正的能量。

而現代創作多屬實驗性,追求一時的效果,曇花一現;缺乏真正的永恆價值。或如強調偶然效果、幾率;或使用現成物(達達主義是始做俑者),美其名「什麼都可以是藝術」的創作觀念,實際上是一種投機取巧、不嚴肅、不負責的態度。當藝術變的如此廉價時,實則在貶低藝術;對高度技巧、傳達善與美的真正藝術更是一種褻瀆。

當代藝術光怪陸離的現象,難以一一枚舉。事實上,現代藝術的敗壞,超過歷史上的任何文明衰落時藝術的敗壞。過去的敗壞可能只表現在題材的墮落,風格的狂放,還存在技法的基本要求;而現代藝術不僅題材上墮落,從創作模式、表現的內涵到審美觀念,早已超出了戴奧尼索斯的激情;呈現的是更加毀滅性的破壞。反藝術、非藝術,追求荒誕、不邏輯、虛無……以破壞為好,以醜為美的結果,色情的、暴力的、血腥的、妖魔鬼怪的……毫不忌諱的以藝術之名搬進藝術殿堂;污染著人的心靈、混淆著世界的價值觀的同時,更加重了道德的敗壞,人類在不自覺中走向危險的邊緣。就以上現象看來,這些現代藝術看似豐富多元的發展,實則早已扼殺了真正的人類正統藝術。

人類文明發展至今,生存危機四伏;自然嚴重破壞、社會道德淪喪、亂象頻生。這樣的背景下,失去了標準的現代藝術絕不是一片欣欣向榮的美景;而是相應的處於「壞」、甚至《滅》的歷史階段。

現今藝術工作者的使命

然而,就像我們一開始談到的,歷史規律是週而復始的。壞、滅當中會有淘汰,也還會醞釀新生。如果人能夠覺察自身的錯誤,修正自己的言行與心態,藝術還是有回升、進入下一次的復興的機會。

本文甘冒現代潮流之大不韙而大膽拋出,實為正本清源,同時提供世人另一個思考方向。希望藉以鼓勵有理想、有技能的當代藝術家們,認識自己的使命,堅持藝術的理想與個人的道德修為,帶領人類走回正統的藝術之路,這也是人類危機的真正出路。
